Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of LeadPuppet (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. LeadPuppet is a free beta: it can change, break, or be shut down at any time.
1. What the Service does
You enter a company website. The Service suggests categories and cities, searches for businesses that could be your customers, and tries to find a public contact email on each business’s website. It returns a list. That is all: LeadPuppet only delivers the list. It does not send emails, contact anyone, or verify that anyone wants to be contacted.
2. Where the data comes from
- Business listings (name, website, phone, address, rating) come from the Google Places API.
- Contact names, roles and emails come from the publicly accessible pages of those businesses’ own websites, read automatically and interpreted with the help of an AI model.
We do not use private, purchased, or login-protected data sources.
3. No guarantee of accuracy
The results are provided as-is. We do not guarantee that any email is correct, still active, or belongs to the person or role shown. Some emails are inferred by pattern, and AI extraction can be wrong. Each lead carries a confidence label (High, Medium, Low) as a rough hint, not a promise. Businesses may also be closed, moved, or irrelevant to your search. Check the data before you rely on it.
4. You are responsible for how you use the data
You decide whether and how to contact the people on your list, and you are solely responsible for doing so lawfully. In particular:
- If you send commercial email to recipients in the United States, we recommend complying with the CAN-SPAM Act: honest sender and subject information, a clear way to opt out (and honoring opt-outs quickly), and a valid physical postal address.
- If you contact people elsewhere (for example the EU, UK or Canada), other rules can apply, such as consent or legitimate-interest requirements and anti-spam laws. Find out which rules cover you before you contact anyone.
- Do not use the data for harassment, fraud, or anything unlawful.
Nothing here is legal advice.
5. Acceptable use
Do not abuse the Service: no automated or bulk use beyond normal personal use, no attempts to bypass the usage limit, and no attempts to disrupt, probe, or overload it or the third-party services it relies on.
6. Usage limits
The Service has a daily limit on the number of searches, shared across all users. During the beta this limit (and the number of results per search) can change or be removed at any time without notice, and the Service may be unavailable without warning.
7. Third-party services
The Service relies on third parties, including Google (Places API), OpenAI (AI processing), Vercel and Railway (hosting). Their own terms and policies apply to their part of the processing, and we are not responsible for them.
8. Removal requests
If you own or represent a business and want its information removed from the Service, contact us (see section 11) and we will make reasonable efforts to remove it.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, LeadPuppet and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service or of the data it returns, including how you contact people with it.
11. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version, and continuing to use the Service means you accept the changes. Questions or removal requests: email hello@lintract.com.
